Weather – sunny, 95 to 100 degrees!
Comments: “Today I entered the desert, officially. It climbed near 100 degrees today. Physically, my body is amazingly adjusting to the distance. I can’t believe I am running 1 ½ marathons a day for 80 consecutive days but if you spread it out over an entire day it is a little easier. Right now we are in a pizza parlor and the people have recognized me on TV and heard about it over the radio – they are giving us FREE pizza and beer! Nice to get a reception like this everywhere!”
